The Regal first opened its doors on the 14th of December 1985 as a snooker hall with 8 tables and it seen many years of success until the slow decline in the popularity of snooker forced the management to look in another direction!
In November 2014, the club purchased a single supreme pool table and could not believe the popularity of the game. Inside a few months we had 4 more supremes installed, followed by 7 more to bring us to 12 in total. This seemed a bold investment at the time but with the very competitive pricing and the hard work by all the staff to maintain the tables to the highest possible standards we have went from strength to strength!
We are pleased to have many of the country’s top pool players playing in the club on a regular basis with Ronan McCarthy, David McQuillan & Gary Clarke being some of the top players to have taken up our full membership which is now over 160 strong and constantly growing!
